Yep, that's a big one. Dunno about 60lbs, but it's big.

That is actually a Buffalo, a large native sucker species.  Far more rare than the introduced Common Carp.  Judging from this pic I'd say a Black Buffalo, which we see vary rarely here

You might have caught a very cool fish, the Black Buffalo.  Hard to say exactly from these photos, but it's either a smallmouth buffalo or a black buffalo.  Both very cool native fish that I'm sure you won't confuse with a common carp again!  Nice catch, congrats on attaining a trophy specimen of a hard to catch species!

Any angler on this site would be thrilled to catch that Buffalo.  Nice catch!  My guess on its weight would be probably 25 lbs.    What kinda bait did it bite on?  Man, I would crap for sure if that thing ended up on the end of my line.  Thats the catch of a lifetime round these parts...
