Choctaw Bass, Micropterus haiaka

 

The Chocta Bass is a newly discovered species of Black Bass that lives in Florida, west of the Apalachicola River and in parts of Alabama and Mississippi. It is very similar to the spotted bass, but has one fewer dorsal spines.
