<p>ANNOUNCEMENT! We are having a special gathering in Southeastern Missouri this August 17-18. Everyone is welcome, so clear your calendars! We will have more details about camping soon, but want to get the word out there. This will be an epic weekend of Roughfishing centered around the famed Wappapello spillway and surrounding area.</p>
<p>Possible: 3 species of Buffalo, 3 species of gar, Pealip, Black, and Golden Redhorse, Spotted Sucker, BLUE SUCKERS, Drum, white and black crappie, white bass, Longear, Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Warmouth, Eel, and Bowfin. That's a probable list. Plus many more options within a short drive.</p>

I am stoked. Love that part of the country. Great people, great rivers, great fishing.
Well I would be a chapped hind quarters if I missed this one! Count me in barring any unforeseen circumstances!

We will have free home base tent camping at duck creek conservation area.
Sadly, I’m not gonna be able to make this one, but if any of your routes down take you through the Des Moines area, let me know, I’d be glad to cast a few lines with anyone if time allows!

The timing really isn't in my favor this year (or next, unfortunately), but I really wish I could make it! Really looking forward to the pics and stories that will come from it.
