Wow! That had to have been an amazing adventure.
MOTHER OF GOD!
That cisco is amazing, as are the rest.
but that cisco! wow
Done! But I'm not sure I categorized them correctly. I put both cods in the Saltwater Group and Range. I put.the cisco as Freshwater North America and in Alaska/Western Canada. I put the Sculpin as non-micro (25 cm max length must weigh a pound, right?) range as Freshwater North America, Alaska/Western Canada, Europe/Scandinavia, and Asia.
That seems mostly right Corey, the two cods are strictly saltwater; the cisco is anadromous. We caught them in brackish water at the mouth of the Coppermine River, which flows into the Arctic Ocean. They apparently range freely through the Coronation Gulf in summer but are found far up Arctic rivers in freshwater as well. The sculpin is both a freshwater and saltwater species. The water was fresh where we caught them. I believe they grow over a pound, probably not by much though. Thanks for adding them.
