The bull chub is a large, beefy minnow found in streams in a small segment of the eastern US. They are aggressive fish, easily caught using panfish gear. Although it does not grow as long as the creek chub, the Bull Chub is a stout fish that can concievably reach one pound in weight. Hence, it is classified as a standard-sized fish.
