Brassy Jumprock, Scartomyzon brassieus

This is a smallish fish of southeastern streams.  Apparently, it has lost its scientific name and is now being referred to as "Moxostoma sp. cf. lachneri". Which means it is an unknown species that might actually be a synonym of Moxostoma lachneri, the Greater Jumprock.  So this species might be going away in the near future, stay tuned.  Found in Georgia and the Carolinas.
