Coosa Bass

 

The Coosa bass - also known as the redeye bass - is a black bass species closely related to the spotted bass.  It is found only in the southeastern US, in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and a small portion of Tennessee.  This is a small bass species, rarely exceeding 2 pounds in weight. Theyt ypically have a distinctive white edging to the soft rays of the caudal, dorsal, and anal fin.
