Northern pikeminnow hit a tube jig while I was fishing for smallmouth bass. Caught hundreds of these critters fishing summers in Montana.

Thats a nice big one!  Great lookin country and even a guy in a Hawaiian shirt.  Dont get much better than that. You eat them fish or something?  Just wondering whats up with holding it like that.  Are they a toothy critter?

These fish are extremely disrespected, to the point that the state of Oregeon pays you to kill them and set up a site dedicated to paying you to do so, that would be my best guess for the death grip. http://www.pikeminnow.org/

Wow, that's crazy. People will probably look back at that in twenty years and, as we have with a lot of our other attempts at killing "varmints", realize that it was completely idiotic.
