Onchorhyncus clarkii

7/4/19
Wind River Range, Wyoming
This fish, at 19", was the 2nd smallest of a dozen Yellowstone Cutthroat my wife and I pulled out of a snowmelt-swollen creek in the Wind River mountains on the afternoon and evening of Independence Day, 2019. 3 of the fish, sadly, swallowed our nymphs deeply and got gut-hooked, so they were delicious dinner guests for the next 2 nights.
