The all-important Orange Scud.  I use this fly mainly for stream trout, and mainly in the winter months.  It is a top producer, and belongs in any winter trouter's flybox.  When in doubt, drift this pattern through a deep, slow run below a strike indicator and if there are any trout in the run you should connect with one in no time.
