HOOK: #2 curved-shank, 3x long

BODY: Brown Foam over Yellow Dubbing
EXTENDED BODY: Yellow Deer Body Hair, cinched with Black Thread
TAIL: Moose Mane Fibers, tied in with extended body sticking out end
WING: Yellow Deer Body Hair, Parachute-style
HACKLE: Two Medium Dun Hackle Feathers, Parachute-style
I created this fly for fishing the Hexagenia Limbata hatch in the upper Midwest. It floats very well, creates a realistic profile on the water, and is highly visible after dark. Use this pattern when fish are feeding on Duns or Cripples.
