My Dad found this pattern lying on the ground along the banks of the Bois Brule River at Copper Range Campground. He liked the looks of it, and told me to tie him up some. The metallic green sheeting used for the wincase/carapace I could not find, so I cut small strips off a big dark green Chrismas bow that somebody gave me. I don't recall what the gift was, but that bow they gave me sure was a thoughtful gift for a fly-tier.........
