HOOK: #8-16 2xl Nymph or Streamer
THREAD: Black
BODY: Squirrel dubbing
RIB: Silver wire
THORAX: Pink Sow Scud Dubbing
BEAD: Gold Bead
TAIL: Krystal Flash
For some reason, this nymph catches loads of fish. In trout streams, I fish this pattern in a #12 under a strike indicator in deeper runs. It has proven to be a great producer for trout and white suckers in the Winter months. Also, I have caught many Carp and Smallmouth Bass on it. It is an incredibly easy tie, sinks well, and can be a great change-up when fish are being finicky.
