My All-tackle World Record Golden Redhorse replica is finished!

I just got these photos of the finished product from Mr. Knuth.  Wow!  He is shipping the fish to me soon, and I cannot wait to get it.   Come on Sportshow!  I get to show off the mount at this event in March, where I will recieve a plaque from the DNR comissioner.  I'll be wearing my roughfish.com hat complete with ratty flies stuck in it and mud stains, grinning the whole time.   In my speech, I will give a long dissertation on the wonderful world of Roughfishing and the pursuit of lesser-known species in our beautiful state.  I wil expound on the true fishing knowledge and resourcefulness it takes to chase some of the rarer species found in our waters.  I will offer a challenge to the hordes of Canadian fly-in Roach-rigging, Wally-diver sparkly-boat types to break away from modern fishing conformity and go after Hogsuckers or Eels.   Okay, maybe I don't get to give a speech.......but Im sure I can ramble on to a few folks there while I'm signing autographs.  I know Al Lindner will be there bugging me to sign his chest, and give up my secret Golden Redhorse techniques.  I told him to quit calling me and get a life, but he's just so tired of catching Walleyes.......

I just can't wait to get my replica and display it somewhere in the house.  From the photos it looks amazing, just as she did when I slung her onto Hogsucker Beach back in April of last year.   Joshua Knuth is a fantastic artist, specializing in fish replicas and taxidermy, and I would highly reccomend his services if you ever want to get a replica made of a spectacular catch.  He is the best I have seen, the only guy to do Roughfish some justice, and his rates are reasonable.  Check him out at Knuthart.com.

Godspeed, UPS truck...........
