Ingedients
- One whole trout or salmon, cleaned.
- Salt
- Fresh-ground pepper
- Fresh Herb sprigs (dill, parsley, oregano, rosemary, etc.)
- Sliced lemon
- Melted Butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rinse and dry trout. Season with salt and pepper. Stuff the body cavity with herbs and lemon slices. Tie the fish together with string to hold the body cavity closed. Place trout on lightly oiled baking sheet. Brush the fish with melted butter. Bake at 450 degrees for ten minutes per inch of thickness. Remove to serving platter. Remove string. Remove herbs and serve.
