Sucker, White

Went out with one hour to fish, looking for either a white sucker or a black bullhead to get me to 30. Time expired, I gave it five more minutes. White sucker! 30! Now it's storming violently so I don't have to be tempted to go out looking for #31 and can relax as the contest ends. So many "easy" species I didn't catch, so many of my favorite spots I didn't get a chance to fish, but so many awesome fishing trips, both successful and not. I love the contest. I wish each year had 2 Junes.

Big congrats, Gunnar!  30 is a huge accomplishment.  I know I ain't never done that...

Nice!  30 is a heck of strong number, especially with the crazy weather this year...

Thanks.

Like Tony's WI/MN win, one of the things I especially like about my June result is that I fished only IL, WI and a tiny bit of IA.

Extra sweet then... And you threw down some awesome species too!

Thanks to you: your assurance that I wouldn't get a goldeye was obviously the key to getting a goldeye.
