I got to the campground on Thursday, and was too excited to set up my tent. First cast yielded this
The next day, Eric Kol and I waded across to the island and fished with it pouring rain on us. It was definitely worth the trip, yielding my lifer Hogsucker
We also caught some gorgeous Goldens, though I didn't get a good picture of his because my lens had water droplets on it
During the contest, I snapped a pic of Greenwood's chunky Golden and Tyler Goodale's record-breaking fish!

Rolled in late and left early, but lets face it - we were really just there for the feast... I did fare well during the derby. Started out Centerpin Trotting and Fixed Line Drifting, I was slaughtered by Trout of 3 kinds out of the same run... The Brookies went back but the Rainbow and Browns found their way on to a shoelace stringer.
Eventually i decieded I had enough of that and grabbed my contest rod and trundled worms down the run, producing Shortheads and Goldens, including one truly nice sized Golden
Congratulations Corey on winning the roundup this year. all around a very fun-looking event. One of these years I'll make it down from my Arctic refuge and then ... I'll beat all y'all. Haha, cheers.
