What you dont see in this picture is the epic bad ass trash talk that was said during the hookset.
This greater was on all our radar for about an hour when finally I said "Man I havent seen that greater in a while" At that very moment not more then 10 feet to my right I hear :zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Splash: Then I hear andy calmly say "I have"
Suddenly all the roughfish points lost in the fudge and potporri attack of 2013 came flooding back. I swear I heard the universe crackle. never before have roughfish points been regained so quickly.
It was the fishing equivalant of walking away from an explosion with a trench coat blowing while putting sunglasses on.
Yes, that was a bit of a smug roughfishing moment i'm afraid. I had already caught a greater, so I gave jknuth and the Dutchman a good hour to sight fish for this fish. Dealing with annoying log perch swarms hampering my efforts at a hogsucket, I was frustrated. When this greater sauntered over to my area, I flipped a cast out and perfectly placed my worm on a flat rock right in front of his face. The rest is history...haha, can't wait to fish with you again jknuth!!

haha. This was definitely one for the books, I almost felt guilty catching the fish in front of you two.
