Caught this nice Lake sturgeon the other night, It measured 60 and a half inches long with a 26 inch girth. This is my largest Sturgeon from shore so far.
You never really feel the true power of a sturgeon when fishing in a boat. Landing one that size from shore is a HUGE accomplishment. Even small fish have spooled me from shore, takes skill to stop them!
