Having challanges creating a new forum topic

Hi All, I am having challanges adding a new forum topic. I can not seem to format my post and add a picture. All the formating seems to get lost on the preview and I am unable to add a post. I see all the format options when I reply to a post but not when I create one. Any help would be appreciated.
