I came across this website and man is it ever full of all sorts of info regarding anything and everything that is wild/home grown and edible. So many things to try.

Great site, I've been frequenting it for quite some time. As hunter, angler, gatherer, and food nerd I appreciate pretty much al his content. Gets a touch Salwey-esque at times too, though more refined in his writting.
Either way, anybody who writes recipes including Shad or Carp is worth a look just because the writting will not be the over-cloned masses that has become almost everything on the internet.
Hank Shaw also runs a Facebook group called Hunt Gather Cook that contains a lot of useful information including recipes for a variety of fish species. It is a private group but he will approve you if you request it. It is private to avoid spammers, trolls, etc -- it is just dedicated to wild food.

I do a lot of foraging for wild edibles, especially of the fungi variety. Thanks for sharing this killer website!
Just your run of the mill Orvis Boy. Fly fishing elitist. I cannot hear you over my false casting. All guided trips every day.
Fishing for compliments since 88.
That is a pretty cool website. Thanks for sharing. I bet most of us here on this site can appreciate his writing and lifestyle.
Chain Pickerel: All the bad assery of a Northern Pike wrapped up in a smaller, prettier package.
I've kept my eye on that website for a while and bought his book which I have really enjoyed

His book is worth reading as well.
