In the process of making some butcher block cutting boards as house warming gifts for both my brother and his girlfriend, as well as my sister and her boyfriend. Both couples recently got new houses. Thought I'd put up a picture of one of them in progress. This one still needs sides squared/trued up, then take the router to the edges and put a 1/2" roundover on them, some final sanding and another coat of mineral oil.

It doesn't matter what you're fishing for, just as long as you're out there doing it.
Here's the finished patchwork butcher block cutting board. 1/2" roundover on all 4 edges (top and bottom), with a step bead (can't really see it in the photo unfortunately) of approximately 1/32".
