Tough going this late in the season, tried to go earlier but storms kept me away.  I will note that "summer" is relative.  I  was wearing wool overallls, a fleece shirt, AND a gore tex duck hunting jacket... chilly, especially with the wind...

That's just crazy I heard those things leave the planet in the summer time, nice catch!

Yup, but the burbot fishing on Europa is fantastic this time of year...  (that said, if you think like a bit like Lake Trout one can find Burbot basically all year - though it does get really slow in Summer)

Dude..... That's just god damn showing off! Obviously that wasn't luck, solid run this year man absolutely crazy

Your momma fishes for lifers with Eagle Claws.

Thanks!  Yep... the Quillback might have been luck but the Burbot was pure sleep deprivation... eeked out 3 hrs of sleep that night... just enough to (barely) figure out that I caught a Longnose Sucker the next morning.  Not like the solid action we got from the Burbot last June, but that was a different lake and different year...
