Buffalo, Bigmouth

Amazing spawning run of Bigmouth Buffalo! I foul hooked one, and went back to try again. Thump went the mini mite, and then I saw the fish's head come out of the water with the lure in its mouth... several stressful minutes went by as I'm thinking "this one's fair hooked! Don't mess this up!! Easy, easy... WHERE ARE YOU GOING? NO, NOT OUT IN THE FAST CURRENT!!! This way, this way, yes... oh god it's barely hooked! Ok, in the net, you have one shot at this... please don't spaz out, fish!!!!!" Into the net without so much as a tail flip! Threw the hook immediately, it really was my only shot at netting it! PHOTOS!!! Then back in the water to make more! Thanks to NinjaAdam for the righteous pics!!!
