Speak up if you caught a particularly long fish this June. There is a website badge for the winner!
Gotta be mike b’s pike or hengelaar’s inconnu
I agree with roughfish. Spent some time looking this AM.
I was looking into this last night and I'm pretty sure it was the big pike
Burbot(), Black buffalo(), last photo-lifers(x), Greater redhorse(), Grass pickerel()
This is the crazy big Kraken that was caught by Mike B in June - is it the longest fish?
Can't speak for any other fish because I haven't looked through all the contest photos yet but the photo Andy posted on this thread is actually a 46-inch pike. I posted it with my contest photo because it seemed like a cooler shot with the ragged caudal and all that.
The 48-inch pike is the one I'm posting below. I caught it with the rod I snagged after it went overboard eight hours earlier while dealing with another fish. Just to note, Hengelaar's coney was a good one but I don't think any of the inconnu we caught last week broke 40 inches. The one in his photo is 38 inches. We taped all of these fish. Cheers.
Hahaha, yeah, if that Inconnu was 48", I'd be laying on the ground in the photo, cos I would have passed out! It did look pretty big, as I was bringing it in. Thought it might be pushing 40", so we measured that one, and it was 38, like Mike said.
Fishn sure is neat
Definitely a Pike or Inconnu caught by Mike B or Gijs.
Roughfishing is the act of fishing for all species: game, rough, and micro. Roughfishing is more of a lifestyle to me, rather than just a hobby.
Let's do a poll for this, as well!
