We went out of Port Washington, WI and ended up with 9 fish total. They are about 3 weeks behind down there and haven't seen many Cohos at all yet. My primary target was the Coho. Our catch ended up being 6 Chinook, 2 Coho, & 1 Laker. It was a comfortable overcast day with NW winds which don't create very big waves. Because of website rules I will not talk about my charter experience. So here are the fish:

That is so cool to see pictures of the time you spend with your dad. That is great.

My sister and I are trying to figure out a way to get our dad out fishing, she got our mom out a few weeks ago and now my mom wants my dad to go.

We used to go as kids, but my aunt and uncle had a cabin and now have a house on that lake and after too many times out with them where it was all about beer and nobody ever caught fish I think my dad just got tired of trying to catch anything.

We are going to get him out though!

Thanks for the report. I am heading over to the big lake next weekend. I am going out of Kenosha where the cohos arrive first. I am hoping to rack up all 4 of the species on the lake that you get trolling.

Cograts on the coho C&B! Good to hear you got one. Only a month to go and I'll be chasing fish on that lake...they are fun!!

Fishing was slow on Saturday. We boated one Coho before the wind kicked up. We had my cousin reel it in because it was the first fish of the day and he had never fished on the big lake before.

yeah the reports were not looking good before we got there. The west winds blew the warm water offshore and the cold water was closer to shore but the guy we went with recognized that and we still didn't get fish. Oh well, there's always next year. I checked a website for new reports and go figure that the fishing picked up out of Kenosha on Monday (yesterday).
