My *little* brother and I did some east-end mudfooting last night in the rain and caught a good mess of fish. The drum were present in abundance as usual and my brother caught one that only a mother could love.
It doesn't seem to bother the fish any, as this fish was well over the 1-lb size (average catch in this area was 1/4 - 1/2 lb) so he's been around for a while.
He nearly lost his rod when this little piggy 4-lb 1-oz channel took off with his bait. Torqued the rod holder good and almost laid it down flat to the ground before he grabbed the rod. LOL
