Wondering if the MN guys have any long weekend trips etc planned for the contest for max species. Coon rapids dam is a great kickoff location corey with many many easy to obtain species. Good choice for sure.

The Virginia boys are gonna be doing a long weekend trip hitting up a few rivers here and just having a good old time.

I am looking forward to all the competition, and enjoyment this contest always brings. I am hoping some of the new comers to the contest go crazy =)

My longest trip I need to take is only an hour or so so I feel lucky but I think I will stay local to $ave.

My mother-in-law wanted to rent a cabin for a week in June and I kind of put up a fit because it was going to be during the contest. I didn't want to get stuck on some small lake for a week with nothing but walleyes to fish for! But then she gave me free reign to pick any location I wanted...I found a nice spot in the middle of some prime multi-species waters!

Anyone ever done a google search for "roughfish" and "cabin rental"...not many hits!
