New Format/Fly 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
Hi guys! It's been a while since I've been here, the new format is kinda interesting.

So I got bored and more or less locked indoors for a day, which is dangerous for me, my fingers and my sanity. Here's what resulted.

It's just a silver doctor, but I like how it turned out.

Thanks! It'd been like 2 years since I'd tied any full dress flies, I thought it was time to get back in the loop.

Do you actually fish with those? or are they display only?

That one is display only, but I'm about to tell you something that will make most of the full dress fly tyers in the world turn green: I have fished with a full dress silver doctor that I tied, and it turns out to be a wonderful bluegill fly in small to medium sizes, even after they destroy the wing. In fact, I use trout style wet silver doctors on occasion for bluegills now.
