well that would work for me without issue.
Our car/truck/van (Pontiac aztek) will be able to take my two yaks without issue. if we get real creative we may be able to get another on there

I think Eric was speaking in the context of the fact that some of the paddlers may need to rent gear anyway. I still think in the context of a big crew and lots of campers buying supplies in their store, we can negotiate something. There are also several other local outfitters we could try, but we would have to meet them in town or at the landing up the road. Hard to get around the convenience of landing right at the campsite, eh?

Regarding time, I have indicated in earlier posts we should plan on meeting at camp at noon. This should give people coming from afar the chance to get there, and we still have all day to paddle and fish. Further details will be forthcoming, after I have set up base camp.

ERIC, the Root has some rocks and gravel in the riffles, but I think given current water levels, your canoe would be fine. I don't think there should be too much dragging going on this year. Your biggest challenge will be holding up in the current. I suspect there may be others arriving who would gladly join you in your boat.
