Red Ceder River in Menomonee. 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Ok gang
after the roundup on saturday we are heading over to Menomonee and staying the night there.
The plan is if we get in early enough to hit the river at night and fish for whatever (Redhorse, Sturgeon, MOONEYE!)
Any tips as far as Locations? it below the dam a good spot? or is there a park in town?
We are also planning on fishing it in the morning.

Thanks a bunch

See you all in a few days.

~Josh

I might tag along if you guys are headed to Menominee after the roundup.

However, there aren't any parks that I know of, however I have a friend out in the area who might let me/us/some dudes/a large horde of people camp on their land.

You are more then welcome to join up.

I know there is a dam, and it looks like there may be a parking lot, but Iam not sure.

Its good fishing, and tons of fishable shoreline down from the dam. The water will be very low there right now, so fishing for mooneye will be simple.....just go up by the face of the dam. Lots of mooneye in that spot. Also, try the boat launch on the opposite side of the river.

What's the plan for Scumfoot? Corey, are you going to post a new string with the details? Just trying to know when I should plan on arriving, and whether there is an interest in a post-derby get-together, or if everyone is heading to the Red Cedar.
