Bored at work? 3 Months, 1 Week ago
I was, so I put together an archive of some images that all have to do with living and fishing in the Upper Midwest.

There are too many images here to post in this thread so if you are bored at work I encourage you to visit, http://sershenbros.net/OutdoorPursuits/?p=245 to pilfer the stocks and maybe kill a few hours at work.

I appreciate your good/bad comments and lines on where I could apply for a job or sell some photos so that I can replace the six winston/sage rods and Ross/Abel reels that I lost in the river this weekend saving a dumbass that was tubing and got hung up on a strainer before a whirlpool and then tipped my boat.....

Thanks for it.

Would you mind if I posted a Link to this on a Taxidermy site?
There are reference pics in there that are amazing and would be perfect for people trying to paint and replicate these species.

I used to do that on this site and others way too much. Then our company started monitoring Internet usage. Some crazy idea about making sure the staff were actually working. Go figure.

Yeah Heath, I'd help you with building up a blank or two for you, but I burned out my lathe motor, building a travel rod for my own use.

Awesome rod, an unmarked 4-piece 5-weight rainshadow.

So I'm in the market for a high-RPM motor of some kind, that I can attach to a block of wood.

But I do have several "loaner" rods. Rods that, if they were destroyed while fishing, it would make me happy. Let me know if you could use one. I know you probobly don't, but I'm just putting it out there. I could deliver on a weekday.

6 rods and a tipped boat all for the life of a tuber? Wow, you are like Ghandi or something. Honestly, I think you deserve the stick. Paula S got it and she only lost 5 rods.

You're right. The Stick goes to ESub.

ESub, you have earned the mighty Stick. It passes from Paula to ESub.

Enjoy it.

Also, PM me, I might be in your neck of the woods for work soon.

Thanks for the stick gang, I am bummed about the gear however its prolly better in the bottom of the river than a tourist.

Corey, thanks for the offer on the loaners, I have a few weeks before I run the program and can drive if I need to get some more rods for the students. I am pretty sure that I would be able to use a few borrowed rigs.

Thanks for the good mantra you guys!

I came across a lot of rods and reels with line today that my students will be able to use in the fly fishing program.

I think its the stick. Even though you get it when something bad happens it just helps to make better things happen!!
