A night of "garbage fish" 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago
So, Stephy and I went to this little pond at our friend's house and went fishing for bullheads. We had so much fun.

We caught 57 by the time we were done and ONE sunfish that MIRACULOUSLY didn't die when it was put in there three weeks ago.

These kids were squealing having such a good time. Then they all went on the four-wheeler and their mom and I spent an hour catching them hand over fish, I mean fist! We had a great time. There were a few that were MAYBE pushing six inches. Most of them were three or four and then a bunch of the little ones. Anyway.......what fun. These kids have NEVER seen a bullhead until we went there. It is cool they are really digging them.

Then on the way home at ten Stephy wanted to "quick" run down to try to catch a cat at the river. Quick ended up being eleven and we stayed until 1:30. TONS of checking out the bait and sampling BUT nothing was caught.

There were HUGE fish jumping out of the water. WHY do they do that? I would ALMOST swear they were Sturgeon.

Anyway.......it was cool....but no cats.

Most fish "Breach" to help remove parasites or because it feels good.

Not surprising at all. Lake Sturgeon surface and breach often. Especially during the evening.
