Slinky sinker short cut. 1 Month ago
Today while I was making up some slinky sinkers I wanted to increase my production. I use #4 buck shot that I have left over since it was outlawed for waterfowl. It is hard to feed them down the cord I have for slinkies. So I found a "BIC" pen; like the one we used to shoot spit balls with in grade school. I took it apart and with ball point and inktube I found the tool I was looking for. With the point (ball point) I could open the cord up to insert the buck shot. And with the ink tube I could force the buck shot down the cord (simular to a ramrod for a muzzleloader). This increased my production greatly over using my fingers to feed the shot down the cord. If you make your own slinkies this will help!

That's a great trick. I'm going to try that for sure!
