E. Sub. (or anyone else in Winona):
Did you happen to catch the "Capital for a Day" events in Winona last evening? If you saw the fireworks display, please let me know what you thought. I always appreciate feedback from the layman on how we did, what we could have done bettter, etc.
Off to Trout Days in Preston in a couple of hours!

I did indeed catch the fireworks and they were FANTASTIC!
Funny thing, I didn't realize there would be fireworks. My friends and I were just getting off of the River from a canoe trip and as soon as we pulled to shore the fireworks began. We stopped to watch before carrying our canoes home.
Great Job!
Do you guys do the Steamboat Days fireworks too?

J&M Displays hasn't done the Steamboat Days display since 2001, but the sponsors finally wised up and came back to us for this year. They received a lot of complaints the last couple of years about the poor quality of the display, so they finally came back. Steamboat Days will be a different kind of display, but we will be using a lot of cool stuff, so it should be fun.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the "Capital for a Day" fireworks - we always welcome feedback, good or bad.
