You are putting them up faster than they can download (walleye).
Thats it I am shutting this 'puter down and going to the river to see what I can see.

I have fished with the guy a number of times and he knows his stuff and is willing to help out fellow fishermen. Now Mizz needs to get some fish up there I miss the pink gloves!!! I also think the pink rod should make an appearance.
Today I had my butt handed to me I had one longnose and one shortnose break me off and a bunch of smallies. But I landed another sheepie8)

I have been knocking out all the common stuff first, and most of it is close to home, which helps alot. The tough stuff is still about one week away yet. Good luck to everyone!

I would have to bring my extension for my auger. There could possibly be new species there.
P.S. I may be going to Missouri for the weekend. I got a great hole for Longear sunfish and Spotted Bass there. Blue cats are always a possibility too. Maybe I wont post those til the end of the contest???? Who knows..........

I was going to say that Doc is at his normal pace but somebody beat me to it. You might think once he gets the common ones then he will slow down but then he pulls a Quillback out of his hat.

Hey Doc,
When you run out of species to chase we might be able to develop a new fishing system for Subterranean fishes and tecniques for the blind catfishes. I could just see Doc splunking in some cave with scuba gear and crawlers on a bottom rig. Am I going too far yet?

It is all about pride! None of us NEED another rod.
I am very happy to see him put up his species and not wait until the last second. I like seeing what everyone has been catching. This year is a difficult year with all the water we have been getting.
Most impressive is the fact that this is a shore fishing guy!
Doc I am glad to see you get your Golden know hard hard you have been working for it.

This species thing gets easier every year. The more fishing you do, the better spots you find. I just happen to be lucky enough to be located close to 3 great large rivers, and several good medium size rivers that have such a variety of species close to home.
Its after 30 species when the fishing starts getting tough.
And no, I really dont need another rod...Just gotta make sure those folks out east or my buddy in Kansas dosn't get it...lol

I think we are only harassing Doc because we don't know how else to express our admiration for this great fishermen. But, I propose that instead of this "macho" harassment thing we just have a big group hug.
